Become a Vendor

Be part of one of Utah’s most meaningful cultural events! We’re now accepting vendor applications for the 2025 Juneteenth Festival in Ogden. This year’s festival will take place over three days: Friday, June 13, Saturday, June 14, and Sunday, June 15. Vendor spots fill quickly, so be sure to apply by Friday, June 6 to secure your space.

Perform at Juneteenth

We’re looking for talented artists, musicians, dancers, poets, and entertainers to help us celebrate Black excellence and freedom at the 2025 Utah Juneteenth Freedom Festival! If you’re interested in performing, please complete the Performer Agreement Form to confirm your participation. Once submitted, contact information and promotional materials are due within five days.

Juneteenth Essay / Spoken Word Contest

Calling all young voices! The 2025 Mr. & Miss Juneteenth Essay & Spoken Word Contest invites students in grades K–5, 6–8, and 9–12 to reflect on the meaning of Juneteenth and share their unique perspectives through written essays or spoken word performances.

This year’s theme, “Juneteenth 160 Years: Together We Rise,” encourages students to explore the history and legacy of Juneteenth while connecting it to their own lives, communities, and dreams for the future. Whether through heartfelt storytelling, poetic expression, or thoughtful reflection, this is a chance for youth to celebrate Black excellence and resilience in their own words.

Submission Deadline: June 8, 2025 June 11, 2025
Prizes range from $150 to $600, depending on category and placement.

Winners will be recognized during the 2025 Utah Juneteenth Freedom Festival. Encourage the young leaders in your life to raise their voices, honor our history, and shine!

Mr. and Miss Juneteenth Scholarship Program

The Mr. & Miss Juneteenth Scholarship Program celebrates the leadership, excellence, and voices of high school students in Utah. Open to juniors and seniors, the program awards scholarships to students who demonstrate creativity, critical thinking, and a commitment to their community.

Winners will be crowned during the Juneteenth Festival on Saturday, June 14, 2025. Scholarship prizes are:

1st Place – $700
2nd Place – $400
3rd Place – $250

To enter, students must complete the application, provide a photo, and submit an original essay of no more than 500 words.

The deadline to apply is June 8th June 11th.
